Sore Knees Driving I'm Going For A Visit To New Zealand And Desperately Want To See Fox And Franz Josef Glaciers.?

I'm going for a visit to New Zealand and desperately want to see Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers.? - sore knees driving

Unfortunately, my boyfriend has sore knees and I'm worried that he would cause more harm. We can not afford to make the helicopter. Is it still worth a visit? They do not know whether it was a display area, or if you see in the park or something similar. Somebody has an idea of places or cities from the days () of Unity in Christchurch? They went in June and we would be delighted to see snow. Thank you!

Franz Josef Glacier - http://www.franzjosefglacier.com - is great - I mean, how often you see a glacier? It is worth a visit even if you do not think much of this increase. Only the Paseo del Valle - less stress on the knee of age.

Hanmer Springs is beautiful - 90 minutes drive north of Christchurch

You can see the glacier from a distance, via modem easily see Francis Fox. I do not know how bad the knee friends, but there are some short walks you can do ... Centennial is (I think it's the name) who is 5 feet 10 minutes away from the parking lot of a hill, but you get a glimpse of the glacier. There is another group called Peter, who again a few minutes before the Anti-reflection of a small lake, I do not know how far the glacier has moved, and when they are expressed in the pool .... But 10 minutes from Nice, which is within walking distance.

It takes about 4 hours I have no hold on Franz) (from Chrsitchurch, but there are plenty of places to stop at! Maybe you have problems through Arthurs Pass to the coast, sometimes in the winter, but their reality is not always one unit.
They could be in Hokitika, or visit the Fox Glacier and Franz (Franz is a half hour north of Fox )..... It will probably snow !!!.... I recommend going Lake Matheson, Fox Glacier is about the beautiful lakes of reflection, which has a magnificent view of Mount Cook and Mount Tasman is, (the highest peak and the second largest in New Zealand) ... is also an easy walk from the parking lot.

The (western) coast is the place that so few other than the population, but it has lovely walks to see landscapes and is one of my favorite places in New Zealand!

you get two sticks in any business outside before leaving home. Enuf that can destroy small to fit into the pocket. B / F can be used when walking everywhere save in the knees. And it boofy. Check out Fox and F / J - Wear your walking shoes and walk through the valley of parking - on foot - about 15 minutes, but it's on the water, ice and rock in bulk - to use a stick. prepared for rain jackets to raincoats.
Hanmer Hot Springs, skiing in winter on snow and B, see / F in a position to include in the hot springs to help the knees.
Take the local bus to Christchurch to see the chair lift, but not - stay on the bus and go to the ocean through the tunnel. The descent is very steep and very difficultKnee. Getting over the sea - in local pubs - the English pub is good, a beer in
When you are finished taking the bus to the center of the city of Christchurch. One day, a place, very cheap and easy to meet and knees.
