The attempt to larger hard drive in Inspiron E1505 with Windows XP mirror with Acronis Migrate Easy 7th The reduced capacity of the hard disk of 500 GB to new, 31 GB, as the old hard drive. How can I retrieve it?

Wow. It's never good!
I would like to download the latest bootable CD. I have used before and has always worked well. (Another possibility would be to download a Linux distribution.) Then boot from the CD, and delete all partitions. You do not need to format, delete the partitions. Here's how.

You should be able to use Ranish Partition Manager to delete the partitions.

Another possibility is to use the installation CD for Vista or XP. Both should the editors of the guests. The graphics of Vista, so it helps.
