Alpine Type R Swr1242d Wiring Diagram Will A Second Battery Be Needed, Or Should I Just Run A Capacitor?

Will a second battery be needed, or should I just run a capacitor? - alpine type r swr1242d wiring diagram

I am preparing myself to a new system install.
2 Alpine Type R SWR1242D 12 "Subs
Ported Box, ca. 6 dice cut.
BXi1606D Hifonics 3200 watt mono amp
They go into a Dodge Ram Alternator Factory 2004 (136 A) and battery. A capacitor should be sufficient for this system? Or should a battery last? If I am to a battery, such as a link to add? As capactior? Cord Battery POS OP in the other battery, then the OP-amp, battery second reason for the development, implementation of the electronic ground wire batt seconds. A big 3 need?

HO alternator, Big 3, Optima battery.

Add a 2nd Battery increases the pressure on the generator from the factory. Does not relieve a cap do not have enough juice to start the generator. Check the cable factory class: 1) alternator positive to battery positive, 2) terminal of the battery to the chassis, and 3) engine ground to chassis. Then ask yourself, is the Big 3 is required?

When the vehicle is in the system completely from the power of the alternator, so that a second does not help batttery

A capacitor will not only help with the peaks, ie, a better sound quality to higher levels. You must be, how many amps your installation is not necessary to know, and then calculate the number of batteries and are in need. The amplifier can handle a 3200 W 12v source that up to 266 amps at once, but it is completely and a maximum capacity of goodwill for most of the summit to fulfill. From the top of my head, I totally standard car battery can last up to 100 amps at short intervals (starting the engine is usually ~ 70).

VERY IMPORTANT: If you use more than one battery, simply connect your device to neg, pos to POS. Not vice versa.

I recommend an extra battery in combination with a capacitor of the correct height.
